i take a prescription nasal spray (generic form of nasacrot AQ) and have not had any breastfeeding issues.

I took generic claritin and had no issues. My doctor and LC both said it was safe for breastfeeding.

The only thing that works for me is Benedryl. Claritin is child's play for my allergies! I just take 1 and make sure to take my prenatal vitamins and supplements like Mother's Milk Plus or Fenugreek...

@shopaholic: Interesting. My doctor (allergist) and LC specifically said to avoid Benadryl because its known for decreasing supply as well as causing LO to be fussy or drowsy.

@Bluebonnet: I know. I waffled on taking it for so long too, but nothing else really works for me. I usually take it at night after LO's gone to sleep, and take all my supplements. So ar no problem....
